Biography
Patricia Lynch is the founder and owner of Patricia Lynch Associates, Inc. One of the few womanowned government affairs firms in the State, PLA/NY began in 2001 as a two person start -up inAlbany. Presently, Patricia Lynch Associates maintains a strong and unwavering presence at theforefront of policy and decision making across the Empire State in both Albany and within the five boroughs while simultaneously working to advance the interests of clients on projects and initiatives both domestically and across the Globe. Ms. Lynch is also the owner of WFPL SpiritsLLC, Ala Nativa Mezcal and is a partner in Oaktree International Sports and EntertainmentVentures LLC.
Prior to starting the public affairs firm, Ms. Lynch worked in both Congressional and State offices, starting her career in the public sector in the communications arena. From there, she became the communications director for the office of the Speaker of the Assembly. During her time in government, Ms. Lynch worked closely with leaders of both parties in the Senate and the Assembly for nearly a decade, developing the experience, expertise, and relationships that contributed to her advocacy success. When she joined the private sector, she utilized that skill set to build a modern operation integrating media and campaign principles to the then traditional art of government affairs.
In 2025, Ms. Lynch was named to the Manhattan Icon Power List by Schneps Media. Ms. Lynch has also enjoyed the honor of being named three consecutive times to Crain's New York’s list of the "50 Most Powerful Women in NY", as well as being listed among the “100 Most InfluentialNew Yorkers” by Campaign and Elections Magazine", “Top 25 Women of Public and Civic Mind”by City and State, “The Albany Power 100” by City and State, and “The Political Power 80” by the NY Observer.
Aside from an abundance of New York-based initiatives, the firm has significantly grown its international focus, particularly in the region of Latin America. PLA has additionally worked with numerous large international corporate clients to support the growth of their business in the wider regions of Central and South America with an emphasis on carrying out large scale projects and events.
Following the firm's entrance into the Latin American region in 2009, Ms. Lynch has brought along list of large-scale productions which include the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition/Panama section, the TV hit "The Bachelor's" Panama episode, the first and only Elton John concert in Panama, as well as facilitating Major League Baseball’s first return to Panama since 1947. Partnering with Mariano Rivera, Ms. Lynch promoted the two historic games between the Florida Marlins and the New York Yankees in March of 2014.
